Hey Gang,

My surge protector is getting over crowded. I already have a power strip. If I plug the power strip into the surge protector, will the surge protector protect the devices that are connected to the power strip?

Thanks,
HULK!

One thing to be aware of, you should NEVER connect a surge protector to a UPS. You should also never plug a UPS into a surge protector.

Because we break things more often?

The names are somewhat interchangeable here, the "unbreakable" part really refers to "on line" supplies that do not "break" the supply for a few milliseconds as the cheaper ones do when they cut in. They are running on battery 24/7, and the charger is continually charging the battery. Expensive compared to the "breakable" ones.

Then there is the Unreliable Power Supply (UPS) ...
