Question about Spybot/Spyware blastor.

Okay, this is more directed at Spywareblaster, but since Spybot has an immunize feature i decided to ask about that to. I have Spywareguard as well and notice that it goes on the tasklbar when i close it. But Spybot and SpywareBlaster do not. Does this mean they stop protecting me once i hit the "x"?
