Question about power and phone in Montreal

I didn't know where else to post this--this seemed like a safe bet.

My wife just spent two weeks with her friend in Montreal and her family. My wife's friend has what appears to be an ailing iMac. I want to surprise her and send her a computer she can keep, but to use while she sends me her iMac to fix.

The question I have is whether they use the same 110VAC plugs and RJ11 phone plugs we do in the states.

Yup as far as I know.
My hairdryer plugs in and works OK in the States and Canada...but wait til a Montreal-er confirms this. :up:

Well, I'm 45 minutes from Montreal as the crow flies and yes, we use the same electrical current as in the States so no adapters needed.

Yes, all of Canada, even the fake Canada (Quebec), use the North American standard 110V & RJ11 :D
