Hi all,

Does anoyone know how to qualify as an OEM in MS's eyes?

I've given Vista whirl and I like it therefore will be buying it. I'm looking at the options available at the moment through my normal suppliers and they are listing the OEM XP with a Vista upgrade voucher. As things are at the moment this looks to be a cheap way to upgrade but I have no idea what information will be required in order to fill out the voucher. I don't really want to buy another XP if it's going to be a waste of money.

Any of you guys genuine OEM's that have seen the voucher?

Just an update for anyone interested.

At the moment, it looks like we will be able to upgrade simply by buying a copy of XP OEM from an OEM provider. This must be done by February though.

Microsoft do not have it set in stone who is a 'system builder' and will accept someone who buys an OEM OS as being a builder.
