"Push" notifications are not the same as email notifications. They are independent of one another. The push will send a message to your PC and show up like a notification of a new email, or something similar, in the corner of the screen above the Task Bar (above the clock).. It seems to be tied to a browser since they show up after a reboot when I open Firefox.

I have had that disabled for some time. This is the first time I got email in my email notifying me that so and so "not going to mention names" had posted in whatever forum. Thought there must be some kind of glitch here at TGO

Push and email are mutually exclusive.

Yeah, what he said only for me it's above the "task bar" as opposed to the "tak bar". :D

But I'm curious how you have push notifications "blocked" because the only two options I have are enable or disable.
I'm special. 😁

Click on the three vertical dots on the right side and choose "edit" and you will see "solved" in there.

But it's not solved so please don't mark it as such.

I think it was probably the result of something that occurred with settings during the transition. I am receiving email notifications for one thread too and never did before and I also have email notifications turned off.

I just tried this on one of my threads and do not see "Solved" as a selection.
