Hey all..

I have a user who upgraded a PC from Win98 to Win2000 pro and is running Publisher 2000. He had no problems with Publisher until the upgrade. Now when he tries to insert a JPG file into a document, he gets an error message stating:

Publisher cannot convert this picture. Publisher does not recognize the format or there was an error loading a graphics converter.

I had him uninstall Publisher and do a full install, but still gets the same message. He is trying to insert pictures that worked when he was on Win98, so I know its nothing wrong with his JPG files.

Also..I saw on the MS KB that DOS file names longer than 124 characters may cause this, but the DOS file name is less than 40 characters.

Any ideas??

Thanks!
