Make sure you have the latest AVG virus definitions.

You may have to turn off System Restore:

"Go to start bar and right click on my computer and then click properties. On the task bar in the box at the top locate the system restore tab and click it, you should see a box that will let you turn off your system restore."

See if AVG can locate the file and move it to the virus vault. If it can't move it the to the virus vault, you may have to search for the file and manually delete it.

Afterward you're done, turn System Restore back on.

Or, you may want to see whether this is picked up by other AV applications....AVG does come up with false positives, especially if you have Heuristics enabled.
