Probably not. In many cases big box pw supplies ie dell, hp, whatever have proprietary connections. AND the fact that the pw supply in question only has 15amp on the 12V rail.
How do I check if it will work or not ?Probably not. In many cases big box pw supplies ie dell, hp, whatever have proprietary connections. AND the fact that the pw supply in question only has 15amp on the 12V rail.
If it fits in the hp case then why not ? Or am I missing something ? Also my motherboard fried up so ordered the Motherboard and core. Should I also order psu or before ordering check psu if it works and then order?You have to check the connections. You are not thinking about trying to put a standard motherboard into a hp case are you? If so, that almost always fails and or causes problems.
You are spending well over $200.00 on parts and you want to use a very low end pw supply???? That makes no sense to me. Same thing as buying a new car and putting in reclaimed oil; again makes no sense.
I understand that. I'd need a new case. Windows also I get it I'd need new. I'll use crack one tho. However psu was just wondering maybe if it can work then why not. Wht is difference from standard psu and hp psu ? Or should I simply buy new psu. And are all psu (industry one)compatible with any motherboards?You need to understand something. Big box stuff ie hp, dell, whatever is proprietary. Cases, motherboards, etc are mfg to their specs and NOT industry standard specs. When you attempt to use a standard motherboard in a dell or hp case, pci-e slots often do not line up, case leads will not work, etc, etc.
Since you are replacing an OEM type motherboard, you do understand you need a new copy of windows. You cannot use the OEM copy that is on your hard drive. OEM type lic live and die with the original hardware; you change the motherboard and you need a new copy of windows.
You need to read the rules of the site. This thread is now closed.Windows also I get it I'd need new. I'll use crack one tho
There were lot of doubts. Like he said if they meet or match up with cpu casing etc. I mean if you want I can delete this post. Sorry for disturbance !You have already received an answer to your question in this thread;

Why are you posting the same question again?
Ok I'll buy new one. Any recommendations. Also idk how I used gtx 1050 with this psu for almost 3 years !Using a hp pw supply with a 1050 card is just asking for a problem. Your pw supply puts out all of 15amp on the 12V rail.
Get a quality pw supply.
