Program wont recognise camera

Just thought one of the smarter few might be able to suggest why this is happening...
Im using photobase, and a vivtar cam, when I go into photobase and do the usual (which has always worked untill today) I get an error message " Failed to connect to camera. restart program and try again"

Obviously I have done that, rebooted, and checked all my connections, still nothing!!!

Please help oh wiser ones than me!!
