Problems with Acer C720 Chromebook

After discovering how to install Windows 10 onto an Acer C720 Chromebook, I began looking for tutorials. I was given a link (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1yfIjx-fJXPvs6EwSdjRnokJ6ktNxeExZmVin9mamVZU/mobilebasic) on how to do it. I followed it step by step (downloading the necessary files, putting the chromebook into developer mode, removing the Write-Protection screw, etc.) and ran into an issue.

While performing the final step of having to press the ESC button and choosing either Hard Disk or USB, my keyboard wouldn't allow me to choose anything. I turned it off and when I turned it back on, there was a black screen that said:

SeaBIOS (version -20151010_094223-coolstar)

Booting from Hard Disk...

It isn't responding to anything, only turning off and on when I press the power button (even after holding it down). I put the Write-Protection screw back in, placed it on the charger and even put Chrome Recovery Utilty onto a flash drive and nothing is still working.

Chromebooks come with ChromeOS
http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/series/c720

This method is only confirmed to work on Google's Chromebook Pixel, and the Acer C720 Chromebook. It may work with other systems, but these two systems have the necessary computing power and functionality built in that makes the process a bit smoother.

There are compatibility issues as well, because of the way the keyboard and mouse communicate with the laptop. The controller for these inputs is unable to communicate with Windows, so your keyboard, trackpad, and touchscreen won't work when you're using it. The USB ports should work fine, so you can plug in a keyboard for the installation process (the other USB port is for the boot drive) and then a mouse after you're into the main OS.

So the issue you see is expected behavior.

Read how to "you can create a USB drive from another computer to try and recover the system." The link to the article is embedded in the above digitaltrend article.

I am a little confused
That Windows 10 install, is available to use as a free upgrade or indeed a free installation - of 10 on systems where a licensed activated windows 7 or 8.1
is already installed.
Other than that it requires a product key

So as I asked before
What OS was on the Chromebook before the attempt to install 10
and if it was the Chrome OS then how is Windows 10 going to be licensed for use

The support site and user guide for the Acer Chromebook C720 doesn't provide any Windows drivers for it nor any instructions on how to install a Windows operating system in it.
I'm sure we're all curious here as to how you're going to install and activate and run Windows 10 in it.
