Hi,

I run an Abit IS7-E mobo in my system. It has connectivity for SATA drives.

I just installed my new SATA drive and was quite happy until I noticed I have no power connector for it.

All my power connectors are the old type I suppose although my PSU is around 18 months old.

The power connector the drive needs looks like a SATA connection but wider. I have no idea what to do.

Is there a cable I can buy to convert the old power connectors into the new SATA type?

PLease help. Baffled.

Thanks,

Peaker.
