I have a Delkin Devices Reader-4. Everytime I install the software for it, when I restart the system, it just keeps restarting. It will get to the logon screen and then automatically restart. It is a neverending loop until I boot into Safe Mode and uninstall the drivers. I have tried disabling from the network and disabling the anti-virus and nothing I do will let me get back into the system unless I uninstall the software. Any ideas??????
I can't think of another program that could be causing the conflict.
You could try contacting thier techsupport and seeing if they have any ideas. [email protected]
Have you checked the event viewer for messages?
Another thing, have you set the system to not reboot on system failure? (In the startup section in the My Computer properties). Sometimes, if you can get the system to bluescreen, you can get an idea of what driver is causing the problem.
Also, you might want to check if you can find updated USB drivers for your system.
