I hope some one come to help this beginner.
I recently installed PC camera .However few days back my son uninstalled some programmes and by mistake the web camera programme was also among them. I have reinstalled this but whenever I am clicking on the PC camera- a box opens - open look in- files of type -avi and it goes to search for files. Finally message comes that path does not exist-please verify.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the CD -carrying the programme but no success.

Hello, if you've done nothing too drastic since the programs were deleted, you could try system restore to get you back to where it started.

Failing that, you say you've uninstalled did you do that through control panel/install/uninstall ? You should also uninstall the web cam from the hardware list. Then restart the PC.

Then install the hardware and sotfware again.

If you don't understand any of this, perhaps post your operating system and someone will talk you through it.
