I use PowerDVD7 as my Media Player which works very well except for one DVD
on which the sound is extremely bad.
The voices sound like severe stuttering,constantly interrupting for a tiny fraction of
a second.
This only happens with one DVD which comes from Europe.The country code is 2
and the format PAL. The sound format is Dolby Digital 2.0 Dolby Digital 5.1

I switched my computer to country code 2 but it makes no difference.

Anybody has an idea what settings to be changed ? I tried all combinations ( audio )
of the PowerDVD7 player.

Your help is appreciated.

Bumping this on the grounds I have a very similar sound problem with powerDVD

This only happens with one DVD which comes from Europe

If it's only happening with one DVD I would let it go. People will start to recommend codec packs and other solutions which may make the overall situation worse. Also be careful when changing your Region code settings, you have a limited amount.
