After a print job finishes a box opens up stating that HPFVLS14 caused a general protection fault in module HPFVLS14.EXE. Pressing "Enter" closes the box and everything returns to normal. I am using a Dell XPS T450 with Windows 98SE. What can I do about this? I did uninstall the printer and then reinstall it. Same problem.

Hi and welcome to TSG,

Ifound this in my research that appears to fix it:

Close all programs except Explorer and Systray by going through the CTR+ALT+DEL routine. Make sure all programs all are shut down except these two.

Close the "Close Program" window.
Click Start and Run
Type in hpfcfg14.exe, and enter
Click continue in the HP Deskjet configuration window that will open
Remove check marks from the following:
Print cartridge query
Bidirectional communication
Launch toolbox when printing (when available)
Click OK
Restart Windows
