My daugher in law has a Koda Easy Share camera and printer dock 6000. She also has an HP all in one printer/scanner. They both use usb plugs to connect to the computer. She had an older HP with two USB ports and could never get the two to work together. One had to be unplugged for the other to work. I gave her a two year old Dell with 4 usb ports. She still has the same problem. I am not real familiar with usb ports, but if your computer has more than one, shouldn't you be able to use them? Thank you for any advice.

Yes you should, as long as the power requirements are met.

Normally each port on a built-in hub should be able to source the full power though, it's only on non-powered external hubs that there would be a problem.
