Hej, another question. I tried to instal internet explorer 7 many times but somehow it won't work lol. I've gone over the troubleshoot.. nothing's wrong but i just can't install it. Anyone know a solution to my problem?

What happens? Is there an error message? Dose the program close? Does it freeze?

wel it does everything right.. it even updates itself etc. but in the end it gives me a red cross and says that IE 7 could not be installed, it give me a link to troubleshoot and then tells me that i shoul reboot my pc.

Did you disable anti-virus first?

Yup. i even rebooted in safe modus (not that it made any difference) so there wouldn't be any programs running that can conflict with the installation... but it didn't work.

are you up to date with high priority updates at the windows update site ?

are you missing service pack2 perhaps ?

Yep i'm up to date.. Service pack 2 is also installed yes. That's why i find it so strange that i can't install explorer 7
