When I download my p3150 lexmark....download says 3100, it causes all kinds of probs with comp., sometimes it disappears even. Anyway, I found a site at lexmark about them and windows xp, they have a driver download there, for my printer, I am downloading it now, and they aslo have under utilities a download. I had to reinstall windows xp after last try with printer. My question is, since I don't have printer hooked up or software downloaded, is it ok to download the driver update, and the utility and then hook up printer? And do I still download the software that came with it, or is that what I am downloading when I download driver update? please help
