Need a little bit of help, haven't worked much with the "spoolsv.exe" service.

In the office I'm currently working in, we got a few new computers before Christmas, they are IBM 'Think Centre'.
One of the computers which when boot up freezes just after windows login when the initial services are being loaded. Thru trial and error I have determined it is the spoolsv service, as when its terminated or disabled the computer operates perfectly.

All the computers in the office have their own printer, and currently because the computer is rendered unusable I have disabled the Print Spooler on this computer.

Spyware/Adaware/Virus Scans all come back fine. As this is an Office computer, usage is monitored.

Any assistance with what may be wrong with the service would be helpful.
Any scans or log files can be posted on request.

My guess would be a dodgy printer driver.

I would delete the printer (im assuming you have 1 setup) off the PC in question, download latest drivers and add a new printer, using the downloaded drivers.

If that fails, come back with what OS and service pack you are running and what printer is connected to the PC.
