Hello, So I am thinking about upgrading my computer and the only thing that worries me is this new Power supply. my old one has a 2 x 6 Pin however this one has a 2 x 6+2-Pin. Will this matter? This is the only difference between the two power supplies the new one has this +2 and i'm not sure if it will fit like the one I have now.

If you can post a link to the particular power supply it would help us help you.

On most 6+2 PCIe connectors the +2 section is removable so that you could have just a 6 pin connector.

If you are going to install a pw supply, make sure it is a quality unit. Post a link to the pw supply you intend to purchase and we can tell you if it is a decent unit or junk. Using low quality pw supplies can [and very often does] cause all type of problems.
