I have windows me operating system on my old computer and recently had problems and had to have my windows program reinstalled. Now when I try to shut down my computer it does not shutdown and I have to push in the power button to get it to shutdown. Never get the message that I got previously about it now being safe to shut off the computer. I tried finding the settings to use under the power options on My Computer but nothing seems to work. What settings am I suppose to use for this?
