Hello, People:

This is not my area of expertise, but I have a client asking questions about getting her laptop on a portable wireless plan. She wants to be able to navigate the Web at home AND where ever she goes. I know this is quite possible, as long as she is within the range of a tower. However, I am not sure of all of the steps she needs to cover, in order to make this happen. I suspect she needs to make sure the laptop has a wireless card, and that she subscribe to a wireless ISP.... but what company should I recommend? What are the reasonable pricing plans she should pursue?
