I have found this patent claiming to be a way to highly compress data for transmission. Are there any experts out there that can read this and tell me if they think it will work? I know just because something is patented, doesn't mean it will work.

Based upon a lot of information, I have my doubts but this technology is being used, in part to promote a public stock. Any feedback will be greatly apprecaited.

By way of additional information, the previous technology by this family was used starting in 1996 and was about a mysterious black box that supposed enabled satellite transmission in a wonderful new way. From all accounts this technology was never proven to work and may not even have existed.
