Plagued with a "DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED" error

Hi all. My name is Sean

I have been plagued with a "DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED" error for quite some time now. I'm very lucky to go 20 mins into any game without some sort of crash, with the crash often being followed with this error (and a varying function that it failed on) and sometimes with no error at all.

I found that this error occurs on any real time app with a wide range of graphical intensity. It happens on what feels like low graphical intensity games such as "Ori and the will of the wisps" and "Oljia" to high graphical intensity games and apps such as "Mirrors Edge Catalyst", "Neir:Automata", "Doom Eternal", and every Unreal Engine 4 build.

I've spent a long time looking for a solution or guide to help. In the guides and articles I've found no one seems to acknowledge the error happening on other games or apps. All the guides and articles I've found give advice such as "update your drivers", "turn on V-sync", "dont use anti-aliasing", and "stop overclocking"; which is all advice/behavior that I've been following for years.

I really dont know how to move forward from here. I'm worried that perhaps some component of my pc is damaged and that is causing the issue.

Thank you for reading and thank you for any advise that you give me
