I installed a legacy 5¼" floppy drive made by Epson into my PC running MS-XP home edition OS. Due to a bios limitation I couldn't run both floppys, so I removed the legacy drive. Now I get messages about a hardware device not being installed properly every time I start the system, and the device is identified as a printer!
