A very basic question, but forgive me, I am an oldie beginner! Last time I had a new pc (hard drive) it cost me a fortune in an IT specialist's time to "clone" my old hard drive to the new one. Can I do anything to effectively copy everything - without spending hours doing it - onto CDs or floppys or anything else so that when my computer gives up, I can just plug in a new one and have all the data - right down to Mozilla Firefox favourites ("bookmarks") ready to transfer. By the way, I have Nero and operate Windows XP unofficial (since I live in Spain but am English).
Many thanks.

Yes, Acronis Trueimage the best disk imaging software out there. Recommend you buy it and also guarantee you won't regret the purchase, there is nothing better in this category, it's the business. Go get now.
