Not sure if this fits in the business apps section and didn't see anything about it is any search so hre it is:

I can't think of anything I've changed in my system (software, hardware or config changes) but now my .pdf files take forever to print.

I have an HP laptop running Windows XP Home, 512mb RAM, 1 Ghz processor. I have Norton Utilities and Norton AV but those have always been there and I didn't have the problem until a few days ago.

Anyone else out there experience this problem? What's the fix?

What version of Acrobat Reader? Versions prior to 6.0 have an option when you do File>Print to "Print as an Image". This option makes printing much slower but more accurate.

If your not at the most recent version of Reader I suggest you upgrade.
