I am having software problems I can not get windows to load in normal mode. it will come up in safe mode. i have tried all ways of booting it up from diagostic to selective start up. the problem started when i was putting in a new sound card and the driver would not load it would stop at 77 percent I kept getting a message about a catroot file. when it got locked up and i tried to reboot it will not load windows up normal only in safe mode

Have you tried deleting and removing the sound card and seeing if it will boot in normal mode??
