hmm.. for one, it could be ur ram.. check whether you have placed it correctly.. for anothr, it could be ur BIOs. Did you update your BIOs? Also, when did the problem occur? Only after you isntalled ur new ram?

PC Turning On Issue
When trying to turn on my pc, it doesnt turn on, i push the power button the system turns on as if power, CPU fan starts up and all, but there is no BEEP, and monitor stays off, it just hangs there and thats it. you have to turn it off the turn back on for a few time (it varies really can take 1 min to 30 min) then it might beep and turn on. Could it be an issue with RAM.. i put in a 512mb (pc2700) and a 512mb (pc3100), could this be the issue? but before u answer that if i remove any RAM stick it still does the same thing? what could be the problem?

hey.. hmm.. then it's strange.. cos if it's ur ram, then your PC wont switch on at all.. If I'm not wrong.. hmm.. dont update your BIOs.. it's complicated.. and one wrong step and your whole comp would be gone.. hmm.. are there any error mesages when you start the comp? Also, have you tried installing back the old ram into ur comp? Doesit work?
perhaps.. do you have another video card? Maybe the cooling system of ur video card died.. and thus.. your card fried.. it's a possibility.
