Will a pc with the following specs be good for gaming:
CPU: AMD Athlon II x2 245 2.9ghz dualcore;
GPU: Nvidia Geforce 9500 GT 512mb ddr3;
RAM: 4gig ddr2 800mhz;
PSU: 400 watts

Decent, 9500 GT is a bit weak for modern gaming though. Also, the 400W power supply has to be of high quality to really be enough for that. Corsair, OCZ, Enermax, Seasonic, Silverstone, PC Power & cooling...

With regards to the graphics card, you may want to wait a few months for the Radeon 5xxx series, they should be cheaper per performance, more energy efficient, and will have DX 11 capability...

Gaming for what games?

Games made in 2006, sure.

As BG0 says... 9500GT is weak by todays standards... but in a few weeks, new cards will hit the market.

A good gaming card that isn't expensive is $75~125.
4670 is about twice the card of a 9500GT... and its only a $65~75 card.
