Hello!
I want to purchase a pc for animating&gaming, what do you think of these specs for -1700USD?
It's a pre-buildt bit i did change some specs, for example upgraded the ram, but I can't change the motherboard, cpu or gpu

CPU:Intel Core i7-12700KF 12x5.0GHz
Motherboard: ASUS TUF B660M GAMING
RAM: 32gb 3200MHZ
1TB HDD, 2TB SSD
GPU: nVidia GeForce RTX2060 12GB

I would use it with blender, krita ect, and play genshin, sims and minecraft basically

Thanks!

If you can, replace the HDD with a SSD.
A SSD is faster and snappier than a HDD.

The CPU and GPU by themself use about 350W of power.
What brand/model/wattage PSU does it have?

I am not a fan of pre-built gaming systems however for the stated price, it is not a bad deal.
I would make sure you have a quality pw supply of at least 550~600W. If you intend on overclocking, then you will need a higher wattage pw supply.
For Blender
Recommended
  • 64-bit eight core CPU
  • 32 GB RAM
  • 2560×1440 display
  • Three button mouse or pen+tablet
  • Graphics card with 8 GB RAM

Krita recommended requirements
  • Memory: 4 GB
  • Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8200M G
  • CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9000
  • File Size: 300 MB
  • OS: Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, Windows 10

It wasnt listed, so i asked and all they said is that it has a 600w psu.

But, afterall i think i'd rather build a pc myself.
Thanks to everybody who commented!
Good decision.
