when i boot up my computer [ wins 98 ] i get the network logon dialogue box . i have to press escape to carry on starting my computer. can i get rid of this box. jmf

Go to Control Panel > Network.

In Configuration tab, in Primary Network Logon select Client for Microsoft Networks.

I think this should sort it out. If not, come back and we will try something else.
