Stored? Do you mean the "remember password" function in IE? Why Firefox in XP? Firefox has more holes than the Titanic. :D

I'm not sure you can access it and look at the passwords. You can turn the feature off and that removes any stored passwords.

The Captain of the Titanic didn't see any holes either......lol

Unless IE 7 supports it's own version of extensions, themes, RSS support, etc, then I don't see how you can compare the two.

If you're talking about where Firefox stores the passwords, then they are in the signons.txt file in your Firefox Profile folder

C:\Documents and Settings\*username*\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\******\

****** = random alphanumeric number

But you won't be able to see the passwords unless you view them in Tools - Options - Privacy - Saved Passwords (expand Saved Passwords - to view or edit saved passwords).
