I have an Epson WF 4740 printer. Haven't had it very long!

I had a paper jam which I easily cleared from the back of the printer. But the jam won't go away. I tried unplugging it from the back, I took out the paper trays to make sure I wasn't missing anything, I lifted up the rollers on the back of the printer. I wanted to try taking out the print cartridges but they are all the way over to the left on the machine and I can't take the cartridges out unless it is centered. Not sure this is the problem anyways.

I tried watching a youtube video, but I couldn't find one for the 4740 and the one I did watch had some things that didn't look like it could be done on my printer.

Does anyone have any earthly idea of what I can do? I have looked and looked and I don't see anymore paper jam.

Or a good do it yourself video for this printer.

I have a MacBook Air
OS Mohave 10.13.3

I'm wondering if I uninstalled then reinstalled the printer, maybe that would work??

Thanks!!

OS and software under that OS are moot points if it is a physical problem such as a Paper Jam.

Unplug the printer. Remove all trays, re-examine all the paper paths ( front and rear ) with a flashlight including the duplexer and scanner ADF, verify the paper type and the capacity is not exceeded and the paper is not curled or dog eared ( leaving the printer carts alone ).

Plug the printer back in to AC. Turn on the unit. If you can perform a Print Alignment test print.. please do so.

If you still have problems, I suggest taking it to an Epson Service Center.
