Pantel tv - no picture or sound

I saw a similar post a few years back answered by cwwozniak - hopefully you can help me. TV has power indicator light but no visual or sound. Currently @ repair shop who says it needs a new main board - part #E213371, but they cannot locate a supplier. I found used boards in the UK, but want some assurance the board will fix the problem before I order. It has been at the shop for 2 wks and I had to call 4x before they gave me the board story. Also, any recommendations for a good tv repair shop in Chicago?
