I have asked this question be for and had one answer that did not fix the problem so I hope some one may be abel to help. My daughter is having the problem she is on dial up when she logs in and goes to her home page yahoo she can go some places but not ever were exampel ebay but cannot look at all the pages only some no problem. This site no problem but can not see all pages. In yahoo she cannot log into read mail puts her user name & password and page cannot be displayed .no problem with user & password as she can log in at my computer she has cheque all the conections even reset all the default settings in internet explor& still has the problem If any one can help please

This problem is typical of a poor connection, possibly a noisy phone line.

Pick up the phone (without the computer connected), dial a single digit (to stop the dial tone for a short time) and listen to see if the line is silent. There should be no sound, static or clicks whatever.
