I have a client whose packard bell won't detect her mouse she has a new mouse and it won't see that one either....I'm going to install the software for it but if that doesn't work I might tell her to buy a new computer....but before I do that I'm wondering if anyone knows something I don't.....

Hi bryangreifinger, welcome to TSG....

Is it a serial mouse or PS/2 mouse? Depending on which one, can you try the other type?
