Hello im having a problem laerning about something, ive looked it up in google and found some stuff which is too technical. Can someone explain to e what overclocking is, what exactly is overclocked on your computer processor for example? and how can you do it, is it advisable to overclock.

In a nutshell, overclocking is speeding up hardware past its default speed. Depending on brand quality and specs, you can push the bounds of various pieces of hardware at the cost of heat and stability. Most of the time, you will have to build up your cooling system, by adding fans and heatsinks or more expensive/more complicated water and even gas kits at extremes.

You can overclock most video cards, CPUs, and RAM.

more bang for your buck, if you know what you're doing.
