My first problem is this - I installed one 2gb stick and went to test out some settings. The HIGHEST clock it allows me to put the memory is 400mhz!!! (even though this is 500mhz memory).
The CPU is set at 200mhz x 14.5 THe multiplier can be lowered but not raised, and the FSB can be changed.
Right now the current settings are 200mhzx14.5 and cpu-z is showing my memory as 362.5mhz I can't understand why I can't raise above 400mhz in the BIOS. In the manual it says the motherboard supports DDR2 533/667/800 and 1066(by AM2+ cpu). Is this not an AM2+ cpu?
What is the ideal setting I should put for the multiplier , FSB (HTT), and memory to give the best performance?
Second issue is that this board has on-board video, but only lets me select 256mb for 'IGPU buffer size" in the BIOS. I guess I can't go to 512?
Sorry but I am new to AMD's new CPU line-up.
Thanks!
