When I send an e-mail - my last name is appearing as the sender. What do I do to change the name. I don't want my last name listed.

Go to OE\Tools\Accounts\hightlight the account and click \Properties. You will have to change the name were Deke appears in the image below.

If it's Outlook Express, go to Tools - accounts - properties and change your user name to whatever you would like to appear.

I just look at it as they just got confirmation on my answer.

I had to set up the image and also checked if I had to change the name in both places which I did.

I stand corrected. You only have to change it under "User Information" not under "Mail Account".

The From: line on the outgoing email will still show the original name in ( )s but it will show the name you put in the "User Information" in the receipents From: line.

I was wondering about that because I have done it and only had to change the user name.
