Outlook Archive folders - Specified path not valid

I have accumulated years of e-mails in Outlook under the Archive folders. I have now done something that has made all of that information disappear. When I click on "Archive," or attempt to create a new folder under this heading, I get the following message:

"Set of folders cannot be opened. The path specified for the file \\HP-PC\SharedDocs\archive.pst is not valid."
