I was recantly attempting to play original C&C on XP but durring the install the module stated that C&C must run on win 95, I tried messing with the system compatablilty, setting it to various settings, but it still didnt work. This game is the only game I cant get to work doing this, a bunch of other old games worked, but C&C is different in some way.

I did a few searches on google, but the advice they give is bland and vague.

Does anyone know exactly (procedure) or theoretically what I could do to run this game?
