Hello
I am working from Fujitsu Siemens laptop loaded with Windows XP, SP3.
I just received an attachment ending in doc+.sit. It would not open in word. I found out .sit is short for stuffit. I then tried to download the free stuffit expander for windows. It told me it would only work when I had downloaded .Net 2.0 Framework from Microsoft. So then I tried downloading another free extractor utility but it did not work. Is there any simple way??
Thanks for asking, Lister. Simple answer is that I don't know what framework.net is and I am reluctant to take new things on if I don't know what they do. Also i copied out the link address, but it came up with an error for that page. So I stopped. However if the framework.net is harmless, will fo back and get it.
.net framework is a microsoft utility having to do with the way software is handled, my description may be in accurate but i can assure you that it is merely a part of windows and therefore is harmless for the pc.
