I'm no sure what works with what, your post is a bit confusing, but if you get a good display with the LG monitor on any of the computers then the problem is unlikely to be the LG monitor itself.
I just edited the post, the thing is everything works perfectly on a new monitor. so it wouldnt be my desktop thats at fault.I'm no sure what works with what, your post is a bit confusing, but if you get a good display with the LG monitor on any of the computers then the problem is unlikely to be the LG monitor itself.
wanted to try it out but it didnt show any input. maybe the vga cable that came with the LG monitor could be faulty.Try 1280x1024, that's the native resolution for that LG.
The problem was the vga cable, took it back, got a different cable. now it works flawlessly.wanted to try it out but it didnt show any input. maybe the vga cable that came with the LG monitor could be faulty.
pc seems to boot fully. beeping only once shortly ( the standart '' boot ok'' code ) I will try to use a hdmi or any other cable which i am 100% sure worksin the morning. dont want to look for it in the middle of night. will update in the morning.
