Old Gateway won't accept USB Keyboard input
I'm trying to install XP on a Gateway that is beyond legacy for a friend. It is the Gateway Flexatxstc Bro Essential 700c. It is old enough to have ps2 ports, however it does not. All it has are usb ports, and when I try to boot into the XP install disc, it says "Press any key to boot into CD..." and then does not accept input from my usb keyboard. I reset the CMOS by yanking out the battery and putting it back in, and now it won't even proceed past "CMOS settings are wrong, press F1 to change them or F9 to load defaults and continue." I have both a ps2 and a usb keyboard, but with no ps2 ports and it not accepting input from a usb keyboard I'm stuck. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

(and btw it doesn't have a din port either or whatever the even-more-legacy-than-ps2 port is called, just usb)
