Oh no, problems again...H/T log included

Well, I've ran ad-aware and spybot already. I have run CWShredder too. I also have spyware guard running and I also use spyblaster. I ran my anti-virus program and picked up a "low-risk trojan" as it was designated by the anti-virus' information page. Lately though, when I leave my laptop on and it is idling, I always come back to a pop-up of some ad for something. Also, most of the time that I open my homepage another random ad pops up. Can somebody take a look at my log and tell me if there is anything wrong or other ways I can improve? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This object indicates you ave the peper trojan.

To get rid of it do this:

First run This uninstaller to get rid of the peper trojan:

*Note: Just click on the uninst.exe and let it run. When it is finished it will just close. There will be no dialogue. Also you must be connected to the internet for the uninstaller to be effective.

Restart your computer and post a new HJT log.

Hi Again MikeyH17...

First thing you need to do is get the HiJackThis.exe file off your desktop and into it's own permanent folder. This will provide a place to store backups created when you remove anything with HJT and also a convenient place to put your HJT log files.

I can find only one item that needs correcting in your log and it's not a biggie. just cleanup..

Run a new HJT scan and put a check beside the following objects in the list.

R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing

Close all application windows except HJT. Close all browser windows, including this one. Click the Fix Checked button.

I'm strictly a Desktop guy, so I suggest you wait for input )if any) from someone more familiar with laptops. I did research a lot of the entries not familiar to me and found them associated with laptops or IBM.

There was one entry which looks suspicious that I could find nothing whatsoever on. This object:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [p] c:\documents and settings\student\local settings\temp\p.exe

It's an executable file in the TEMP directory and that is suspicious in itself. If you receive no further input on it, I suggest you use HJT to fix (read, remove) it. If doing so has any adverse effect, you can always restore it from the HJT backup. To do this, open HJT and click Config, then click Backups. Check the object in the list and click Restore.
