Im Having A Problem With Office XP

I Have Previously Run The Software On This Computer Before With No Problems At All, But After A Recent Reformat The Software Is Playing Up

I Have Installed The Software And Selected "Run All Programs From My Computer" And Have Installed The Full Package, I Enter The Serial And Installation Finishes With No Problems.

However If I Shut Down The Computer I Am Prompted To Enter The Office Disc, "The Program You Are Using Is On A Removable CD".......Ive Done The Full Install Three Times Now And Still Get The Error On Startup

I Run Spybot But Cant See That Removing Any Registry Entries?

Any Ideas?

Try this*

Uninstall
Run a registry checker (system Mechanic?)
Remove all references to office
Reboot
Reinstall (FULL INSTALL as before)

I had this problem once with the first release of office XP - but after I installed SP1 it seemed to fix its self.
Good Luck
Thanks For Your Reply, Whilst Attempting To Open A Word File In An Effort To Explore The Problem More I Was Presented With An Error Message Saying That "Word" Was Corrupt And "Would I Like To Repair It?"

This I Did And Now It Seems To Be Fine?

Im Not Sure What Caused The Problem In The First Place But It Now Seems To Be Sorted.

Thanks Again For Your Reply, Im Sure It May Be Useful For Anyone Else Experiencing Problems That Isnt Presented With The "Repair" Box
