Okay, talk about being aggrevated.

Have a field rep that cannot send emails to the deleted items bin in OE. When closes a email and click delete, it asks if he wants to permanently delete this email. If he says yes, it does not go to the Deleted Items. It just disappears, hence the perm delete.

How can I change this default? I've looked in Tools/Options, to no avail.

I don't believe it's a default option. He is probably holding down the shift key while he presses delete. This results in the prompt message and if you reply yes, it's deleted permanently.

I just tried it and that's what happened.

Well, it was a user error... the field rep had dragged a the folder for the incoming emails into the deleted items bin. Therefore when the rule executed to send the incoming mail to this folder, it was already so-to-speak deleted, and when he went to delete it, it acted like a perm delete.

{sigh} the life of help desk. Thanks for your help :eek:)
