alright ive had the game for a couple months or so now. all of the sudden after having the game on pause for a sec. my character can only move in slow motion. he just keeps running in really slow motion and the only control i have is left and right. i have to shut the game down and start it back up to correct this and its happning more and more often now. ever hear of this problem? what can i do? i havent patched teh game yet, is there a simple patch for this game that might solve my problem? it really annoying!

update:
okay this is gay, not even 30 seconds after posting this the slow motion glitched just happend for no reason while i was walking, i didnt even pause the game this time. this is rediculous. i hate how i get a game and everything goes great the first month, then out of nowhere i start getting problems. what is up!?!?

new update:
well, ive installed the 1.1 english patch for the game. it did nothing to solve the slow mo. problem, and its happening non stop now. the game is unplayable. ANY information or ideas would be AWESOME!!!!!! now. lol, thanx.

Have never run into anything like this myself but did vaguely remember reading about it somewhere. Found this in the nVidea forums if you have a peripheral like a gamepad or joystick connected to your computer

Slow motion movement
The player character moves in slow motion, or heads in one direction without any buttons being pressed.

Warning I would strongly recomend making a back up copy of the Oblivion.ini file before making any changes to it

Solution: This is often the result of a joystick or controller plugged into the computer. Editting the Oblivion.ini may correct this issue. The Oblivion.ini file is located in the My Documents\My Games\Oblivion directory. In the [Controls] section, change the bUse Joystick=1 setting to bUse Joystick=0 or simply disconnect the peripheral. Make sure the settings are saved. Note, changes to the Oblivion.ini file will not be saved if Oblivion in running when the changes are made.
