This has gone way beyond annoying. I have XP Professional installed on this brand new machine, and I attempted to install Windows Vista Beta2 [x86] to dual-boot. I get all the way through the installation, and during the Completing Installation step, I get a Blue Screen of Death [BSOD] referencing nvlddmkm.sys. It does something with the memory, restarts itself, and automatically goes into Rollback mode, and then after it rolls back, I'm back in XP Pro Corp. I have searched this on Google, and nothing has been successful. The "nv" in that filename must refer to Nvidia, and I'm sure it has to do with my video drivers and their conflict with Vista.

So, I uninstalled the video drivers completely. Some folks said that they had to revert back to an older driver 87.45 to get it to take. I uninstalled it completely. I tried again, and reproduced the same issue. Has anybody else had this problem? I'm going to try something else, and then do another install tonight, but some quick suggestions, ideas or thoughts would be most appreciated.
